Expectations...
...what you believe will happen in the future or how others should behave
in the end, it's not circumstances or people, but your perceptions and judgments of what's offered that will influence how satisfied or disappointed you'll be and the amount of each you'll bring into your life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
See life as it is, not as you think it should be.
Love people as they are, not as you want them to be.
See beauty as it shows itself - flawed or different than you think it ought to be.
Listen not to correct the less than perfect speech or poorly told story, but for the message the teller hopes to convey.
If you expect nothing from someone you believe is 'less', nothing is what you'll get. Not because they have nothing to offer, but because you've silenced your curiosity.
If you never again see the person you judge, will you one day recall what it was you loved
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Satisfaction is a feeling of contentment or fulfillment felt when your needs are met - more easily and fully met when you acknowledge what is
To know the feeling of delight in the presence of beauty, you must make yourself available
Your expectations have the power to transform outcomes. It's up to you
For one week - walk into every environment, enter every call, join every meeting, drive to every destination - willing to notice the good
